Inspired by Christoffer Relander’s “We Are Nature” series, which melds human forms with nature through multi-exposure photography, I created a layered lino print piece incorporating motifs of leaves, branches, and a humanoid figure. Exploring different media, I found lino printing allowed me to build up repeated natural patterns across four layers, echoing Relander’s fusion of humanity and the natural world. This work was part of my IB portfolio, shifting the focus from traditional biblical religious imagery to a personal exploration of growing faith and spirituality rooted in oneself and nature.
