For my final project in my Intro to Fashion class, I designed and stitched a top and skirt set—my first time creating something so substantial. The experience was both exciting and educational, especially since I had never sewn a full garment before. I worked with my roommate as the model and challenged myself to incorporate a corset back, which initially seemed daunting. However, with helpful guidance throughout the process, I was able to achieve the look with ease and gained valuable skills and confidence along the way.
