For my materials and techniques class, I created a gouache triptych celebrating my top three Formula 1 drivers, one of my long term interests. This was my first experience using gouache, and I loved how its qualities reminded me of watercolour, offering vibrant colour and smooth blending. Working with this medium proved so enjoyable that it’s now one I often reach for. I'm especially proud of how these pieces turned out, as they combine my interest in motorsport with newfound confidence in a new artistic technique.
