For my editorial publication class, I created a full-page illustration inspired by a New York Times article on rising sea levels threatening cities. I reimagined the iconic King Kong atop the Empire State Building by replacing him with a giant squid, symbolising the slow drowning of urban landscapes. This visual metaphor highlights the urgent threat of climate change while connecting imagery to provoke reflection.
