Feeling nostalgic about my childhood and my dad first introducing me to Mario Kart on the Nintendo DS, and now still playing it together on the Switch, I created this piece as a playful promotional short that celebrates that ongoing bond. It became an opportunity to further explore my interest in blending traditional and digital art, integrating hand-drawn elements with digital editing to form a dynamic hybrid aesthetic that feels personal to me.
